چکیده
Context: Some recent reports have indicated that almost 80% of clinical infections in humans biofilm origin and impose additional healthcare costs. This study was an updated review extracellular polymeric substance matrix (biofilm) formation elaborated on its significance, diagnosis, therapeutic approaches. Evidence Acquisition: narrative reviewed the most information significance microbial settings, common biofilm-producing bacterial species, antibiotic drug resistance, new approaches to treatment associated with formation. Results: a permanent increase frequency central venous catheter, mechanical heart valve, urinary as well persistent infections. However, antimicrobial resistance induced by biofilms were problematic. Moreover, several assays lab devices described evaluate Furthermore, attitudes towards anti-biofilm treatments introduced this paper. Conclusions: The number different mechanisms accordance knowledge how play critical role disease pathogenesis. Biofilm strikes surveillance patients bearing infectious diseases under conditions. use methods is effective for recovery infected patients.

Ocular involvement in lymphoma is a relatively rare condition that can result from a primary intraocular lymphoma or an intraocular manifestation of systemic lymphoma. Lymphoma manifestations frequently masquerade as other more benign intraocular conditions including allergic or infectious conjunctivitis, uveitis, multiple evanescent white dot syndrome, acute retinal necrosis, or herpetic retin...
متن کاملEctopic pancreas in gallbladder. Clinical significance, diagnostic and therapeutic implications.
Ectopic or heterotopic pancreas is defined as the presence of pancreatic tissue in an anatomical place not related to the pancreas, being it most frequent locations the stomach and small bowel. Its finding in the gallbladder is exceptional. Since the first case was reported by Otschkin in 1916, about 30 cases have been described in literature. We report the case of a 43 years-old male patient w...
متن کاملDetection of Intracellular Adhesion (ica) and Biofilm Formation Genes in Staphylococcus aureus Isolates from Clinical Samples
Background: The nosocomial infections that cause the establishment of biofilms on the embedded biomedical surfaces are the leading cause of sepsis and are often related to colonization of implants by Staphylococcus epidermidis. Materials and Methods: A total of 40 clinical S. aureus isolates were collected from Zabol, Iran. The ability of these strains to form biofilm was determined by microli...
متن کاملDetection of icaABCD Genes and Biofilm Formation in Clinical Isolates of Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus
Background & Objectives: Methicillin resistance Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is one of the most important pathogens that causes several nosocomial and community infections. Adhesion to surfaces and biofilm formation is considered main step in staphylococcal infection. The aims of this study were to determine presence oficaABCD genes and relation to the biofilm formation in of...
متن کاملBiofilm Formation and Detection of IcaAB Genes in Clinical Isolates of Methicillin Resistant Staphylococcus aureus
Objective(s) Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is an important cause of nosocomial and community infections. Biofilm formation, mediated by a polysaccharide intercellular adhesin (PIA) and encoded by the ica operon, is considered to be an important virulence factor in both S. epidermidis and S. aureus. However, the clinical impact of the ica locus and PIA production is less w...
